What Are the Doshas?
According to Ayurveda, every person is made of three energies — Vata, Pitta, and Kapha.
These doshas control how your body and mind function.
-
Vata – Controls movement, creativity, and energy flow
-
Pitta – Controls digestion, metabolism, and transformation
-
Kapha – Controls structure, stability, and immunity
When these three stay balanced, you feel healthy, calm, and active. But imbalance creates problems like:
-
Vata imbalance → hair fall, anxiety, dry skin
-
Pitta imbalance → acidity, anger, hair thinning
-
Kapha imbalance → weight gain, laziness, oily skin
⚖️ How to Know Your Dominant Dosha
You can find your dosha type easily by observing your body and mind:
| Type | Common Traits | Health Issues When Imbalanced |
|---|---|---|
| Vata | Thin body, dry skin, fast talker | Constipation, Anxiety, Sleeplessness |
| Pitta | Medium body, sharp mind, warm body | Acidity, Anger, Hair Fall |
